DESCRIPTION
We have designed an ultra lightweight sack that can be used for multiple purposes, the SnowBucket.
The SnowBucket can be used as a snow storage sack for cooking, a passive solar snow melting bucket, a water transporter, a stuff sack for gear or a buried emergency rappel snow anchor if needed.
Strong lightweight Ripstop nylon is used for the bag with reinforced nylon at the entrance of the bag to securely hold the Dyneema cord handles in place.
A wide opening and a bucket style shape allows easy filling and removal of snow and the Dyneema cord handles double up as a rappel anchor sling when pulled to one side that easily cuts through snow.
The SnowBucket anchor weighs only 34 grams.
